Ressies tight, but seniors are tighter
It could not get any tighter at the top of the Wimmera Football Netball League seniors ladder, with Ararat, the Thunder, Horsham Saint and Stawell all tied on 24 points, or 6-2.

In fifth position is Nhill, just one win behind the pack, while the Eagles sit back a further four points, in sixth.
The Demons, Minyip Murtoa and Dimboola occupy the bottom part of the season standings.
It's also close in the leading goal-scoring, with John Jorgensen and Paul Summers currently tied for the lead with 25 goals.
Nhill co-coach Jake McQueen is third, with 22, while Cody Driscoll (Stawell) and Connor McFadyen (Warrack) are on equal goals (17) and sit fifth and sixth, respectively.
When it comes to the league's better players this season, according to PlayHQ, Dimboola's coach, Andrew Moore, leads the way, appearing in the best players for his side in each of their matches.
Billy Carberry (Demons), Josh Fowkes (Stawell) and Hamish McRae (Burras) are also all up there, featuring in their best players seven times this season.
Looking at the Reserves, it is Ararat and the Horsham Saints who are the ladder leaders, on equal points (28, 7-1).
Stawell and Minyip Murtoa both have a record of 6-2 this season, while Nhill are in fifth, on 16 points.
The Demons, Eagles, Thunder and Dimboola fill the minor places.
Having booted 16 goals each this season, Jackson Bohner (Ararat) and Nick Considine (Warriors) lead the goal kicking, with Ben Pollock (Nhill) and Shane Field (Warriors) on 15.
Ararat's Corey Taylor has the fifth-highest goal tally, with 14.
In the best player rankings, and like the club's coach of the seniors, Dimboola's Robert Somers leads the way, with a perfect record of eight best on grounds from eight matches.
Timothy Sanford (Thunder) is just behind him on seven, while there are numerous other players behind Sanford on six.
