Youngster Emma Uebergang continued her strong shooting form, scoring 45 goals for the victors.

Playing in Stawell, it was a tight encounter all game, with Natimuk establishing a two-point lead at the first break before going up 24-21 at half-time.

With little separating both teams entering the final quarter, the Rams stormed home to end up 14-point winners.

For the Swifts, Rebbekkah Pye led the team in scoring with 21 goals, while Kathryn Boag and Sarah Morris impressed in the midcourt.

As well as Uebergang’s standout performance in the goal circle, Ebony Rintoule had a great game at goal keeper.

The win marks Natimuk’s fourth straight and leaves them just behind the Swifts on the ladder by way of percentage.

Di Hayes, coach of Natimuk, was happy to reverse the result from their previous encounter with the Swifts in round one.

“It was pretty tight until the third-quarter break,” Hayes said.

“Then, in the last quarter, we just really put it all together and just kept going.

“It was such a full team effort – it was just amazing and they just really clicked, and some passages down the court were absolutely fantastic.

“When we played them first up we were really quite raw and had only just formed together, whereas, on Saturday there was just a lot of confidence in every player on the court.”

Hayes went on to credit 16-year-old Uebergang, saying the young shooter has progressed nicely in recent weeks.

“In the last couple of weeks, she’s (Uebergang) really showned maturity and grown in what she’s been able to do on the court," Hayes said.

At Kalkee, Laharum celebrated coach Rebecca McIntyre’s 300th A grade netball game with a decisive 57-33 victory over a depleted Kalkee side.

The Demons started strongly, getting out to a 15-9 quarter-time lead before maintaining control of the game, stifling Kalkee with their defence while executing on the offensive end.

McIntyre, playing at keeper, and goal defender Emalie Iredell consistently disrupted Kalkee, while Courtney Taylor starred with 38 goals at the other end.

Lisa Fulton led Kalkee with 19 goals, with Abbey Williams and Amelica McRae being two of the standouts for the losing side.

Elsewhere, Harrow Balmoral produced a comeback win to defeat Taylors Lake 37-36.

After going into half-time up 19-17, a strong third quarter from the Lakers saw them enter the final period with a five-goal lead, but the Southern Roos defended strongly while hitting some late clutch shots to produce the nailbiting win.

In other round 13 games, league leaders Rupanyup defeated Kaniva Leeor United 52-18 and Edenhope Apsley were too strong for Pimpinio, winning 77-29.

Noradjuha Quantong had the bye.
