HDFNL juniors celebrated
Numerous junior footballers and netballers took home awards following the Horsham District Football Netball League junior vote count last week.

The under 17s football saw Noradjua Quantong’s Micah Erhardt comprehensively take out best and fairest, polling 30 votes across 15 games while Rupanyup’s Hugh Weidemann was runner-up with 15 votes from 11 games played.
Abbey Williams was crowned best and fairest in the under 17s netball, the Kalkee player accumulating 30 votes, five clear of Natimuk United’s Phoebe Sudholz.
In the under 15s netball, Pimpinio’s Ruby Williams was a clear best and fairest with 39 votes, while Laharum’s Maya Przibilla claimed the runner-up award with 27 votes.
A tight vote count occurred in the under 14s football, as Noradjuha Quantong’s Judd Oakley and Laharum’s Joel Plazzer both finished with 29 votes, with Oakley taking out best and fairest due to a higher points-to-match ratio.
In the under 13s netball, Rupanyup’s Ane Van Zyl took out the best and fairest award with 26 votes, while Natimuk United’s Makaylah Rabone was runner-up with 21 votes.
