Easter in Hopetoun
With glorious weather, Lake Lascelles buzzing and many people around, Hopetoun was a great place to be.
Businesses report good sales, a relief over these challenging times of financial challenges and online purchasing.
As part of the Easter celebrations, the Christian churches were involved in a number of activities.
As well as distributing an easter message to all local addresses, the churches were involved in taking the Easter message around the Lake to Campers, delivering the Easter brochure, palm crosses and Easter eggs, which were well received.
Good Friday and Easter Day Services were well attended, with locals and visitors joining together to proclaim the Easter message of what God has done for the world through Jesus Christ.
The church families trust that people were blessed over the weekend and had a happy time, sharing with families and friends.
